We were proud to once again assist in facilitating the Chew’s Place Entrepreneurship Experience Program (EEP) in support of Hervey Bay State High School’s Certificate III in Business. Our program provides the practical vehicle for the school’s curriculum delivery and we were proud to stand alongside these amazing young people.
Our EEP assisted students to develop and manufacture products to sell, promote their business, run their own stalls and develop business plans including all the fun stuff like working out their break even point and running inventory. They got the opportunity to see their business plan in action which is the key to the success of the EEP and development of young entrepreneurs.
Aside from the obviously business skills these students developed; they also found a great sense of community with their profits being donated to the Teen Life-Skills Centre (TLC).
