About Jenni Chew
Jenni has her own Business Consultancy business based in Hervey Bay which implements Youth Enterprise Programs, supports new ‘start up’ businesses works with existing small businesses to review for the future and offers a range of training programs that can be tailored to your specific needs.
Jenni combines her two strong passions of business development and working with people, especially young people and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Through the programs Jenni develops and delivers, she brings the energy and commitment needed for any project or program she works on to be successful.
Jenni was a member and a Director of Stepping Black Indigenous Corporation Australia which is an organisation that designs and delivers programs, training and professional development support for its clients with a focus on supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island peoples, their families and their communities.
Jenni held the role of Queensland State Manager for Young Achievement Australia for five years where she facilitated and manage the delivery of over 50 business skills program each year to young people in secondary schools, universities and other tertiary and community groups. These programs were across Queensland including regional and remote areas.
As YAA State Manager, Jenni worked with business mentors and corporate sponsors to ensure successful outcomes for all participants and supporters. She was responsible for the planning, facilitation and successful delivery of special events including Trade Expos, Management Skills Seminars and Regional and State Awards Dinners.
While living in the South Burnett for over 30 years, Jenni was an educator and effective workplace trainer who developed and implemented courses across a range of business and work ready based curriculum areas as well as personal development and LLN. Jenni also contributed to her community as a Sports Coach, School Musical Producer, Work Experience Co-ordinator, Show Society Secretary and Events Manager.
Jenni has developed a wide range of skills and talents over the years of her working life which she now uses to provide personalised and professional support to assist businesses, communities and organisations and most importantly the people who make up their teams.
